NC Aquarium at Roanoke Island Roof Repairs

Atlas evaluated the main low-sloped roof area to determine remaining service life and to identify roof systems to be installed off-season (winter). Isolated night work minimized disruption to the public access to exhibits and kept animals in the live exhibits safe. The project incorporated a number of communications procedures to ensure public and staff safety while installing a high-performance new roof system capable of handling coastal wind conditions.
