Tri-Towers Fall Protection

University Housing wanted to install rooftop fall protection and window-washing equipment supports on the roofs of the three residence halls to provide safe access conditions for roofing and window maintenance personnel. NCSU Facilities asked Atlas to design rooftop fall protection for the window washing equipment supports, including options for a horizontal lifeline system and a perimeter guardrail system. Atlas designed the anchor layout, lifeline system, and perimeter guardrail options. The Owner selected the individual roof anchor option. Atlas assisted NCSU with bidding, contract administration, and performed site visits during construction to observe the anchor installation and testing.
